stony
now thats got to be a slug. even if it was 400hp thats alot of weight to be pushing around. not sure i would even consider doing that swap.
Guest ON3GO
not really.. theres a SR20 powered Z32 2+2 in japan (its white), it had something around 550hp, and would blow the doors of same power VG Z's, the VG30DETT is pretty heavy. mike
stony
didnt think about the engine being so heavy but still that same motor say in the FD or s30 or ae86 would blow the doors off the z32
Guest ON3GO
oh ya the Z32 is heavy... i should know i have one.. but ill always say theres no car out there that rides nor handles like one... my fav car ever. mike P.S. have you ever seen that video with a Tureno with a 20B with like 700hp? craziest and best vid i ever seen! plus the fastest car i have ever seen. S30Z Bushido
i don't think that Z32 would be that sluggish, they are heavy...but the VG accounts for a substantial amount of thier wieght. i think that SR20 is a definate upgrade from the VG30DE... here are some weights i got off of some other web sites. stock N/A Z32 = 3200lbs. VG30DE w/ tranny=475lbs. SR20DET W/Tranny=328lbs so the Z32 above would come in with a weight of around 3053lbs, which is still on the heavy side... but with a few bolt ons it would make quite a nice power to weight ratio... on3go, i have seen a few pics of that white z32, it's definetly bad ass...
