280z-racer Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 hey all im looking for a set of forged pistons for my L28ET buildup. im looking for about .040 overbore and i cant find anyone that has some damn forged pistons. i work for nissan and have a part number for the Nismo forged pistons, but getting ahold of Steve Christianson at Nismo is damn near impossible. i need to try to get these asap, but cant find a company that has even heard of a 280ZX. Arif Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 Try JE pistons. I had my custom made and it took awhile to get them back. They looked so good I wanted to put them on my desk as a display. They even came with blueprints in case I needed to replace one. If my memory serves me correct they were about $750 however they might be cheaper if you deal with them directly instead of using an engine builder to order them through.
