Guest zfan
I had my Holley 750 dp dialed in pretty close and changed my fuel pressure from 5.25 lbs to 7.0 lbs could this change my set up and cause the motor to run richer. Also I changed the cam settings on my carb. They are still the pink ones but they had been on the #2 hole on carb with 3rd setting on the cam itself, I changed to #2 carb and #2 on the cam. Mudge
It can cause you to run richer if its overfilling the float bowl, look for an index on what your carb wants to see for fuel pressure. Unfortunately unrelated, but the Webers I have want to see 3 psi about, after that they just overfill the floats and run rich.
z ya
zfan, 7 psi is about max for the street. I currently run 6 psi in 650dp. I am running a 16 psi electric pump regulated to 6 psi. Are you dynoing again tomarrow???? I would shot for around 6 to 6.5 if it were mine.
Guest zfan
Im going to try to get in for some Dyno tuning today. It's probably the only way to get it straight once and for all. 100 bucks an hour sucks though Mike
z ya
How did the dyno session go???
Guest zfan
Crap no dyno tuning on saturday as the guy's at the shop must not have wanted to make any money they just sat around and said maybe next week they will be doing some dyno tuning. What has it come to that people don't want to work at a gear heard shop. Will like to see how long they stay in business. Dumb asses! Time to look up the competition!
