Mikelly
...And I'm stoked... Dave Williams did a hell of a job on the build and the amount of metal he had to remove to get my rods to clear is amazing. He did a wonderfull job. I can't wait to get it all buttoned up so I can get it mounted in the car, radiator mounted, and then finish up mocking the infrastructure up... Then I'll pull it all back out and prepare the car for the body and cage work... The fun begins! Mike
DavyZ
Happy to hear that there is one engine builder that is still doing a good job. I hope that you are still saying that after the engine is all together and running for the first time! Oh, and Mike, don't forget to add engine oil!!! lol Davy
Racin_Jason
Rock on Mike! Im glad to hear you getting back to buisness after the long garage mission. I'll be expecting some burnout pics once you get it buttoned up and dialed in! Jason
Mikelly
Well tonight I finished off the bottom end, got the water pump mounted, got the oil pressure sender plumbed, and bolted the March Alternator mount on and hung the alternator on the bracket, sans heads. Pete is coming over Saturday for the cook out and bringing his deck height tools, and his harmonic balancer driver to go ahead and do the balancer. Broke mine tonight putting the balancer on... I still need to source a trans (Tremec or similar 5 speed) and headers, and decide what distributor to use. I'm amazed that I have most of the stuff to put this project back on the road. I still need to get the cage welded in, and get it prepped and painted, and then bolt everything in. Feels Real good to be back on track with a Zcar project underway!
