Question about break swap, and master cylinder

I just got all the parts I need to swap the front breaks to the toyota 4x4 4piston, and to swap out my aluminum drums to disk breaks. before i bought this, i purchased a new master cylinder, because my old one is leaking through the vacume line. I have a brand new 7/8ths MC for my 71 240, but do I need to upgrade to a 15/16ths for the break conversion?

 

I have not instaled the new MC yet, so I might be able to exchange it, but I am not sure.

 

what do you guys think?

I'm not familar enough with the Toyota calipers to answer that question. But you could measure the bore diameter of the Toyota calipers (both pistons) and determine the area of each of the bores (then add the two together), and compare this area to the area of the Datsun calipers (just one piston). If the Toyota square area of the pistons is greater than the Datsun piston area then I'd say get the larger 15/16" master cylinder (it's about 11% larger I believe without doing any math here).

i've been doing alot of research on this topic and i have everything except the MC. almost everyone mentions going to the 15/16 MC. IMHO i would have to agree just from a standpoint that it couldn't hurt. i would rather err on the side of caution.
