Guest thepenguin99
I considering installing some 225/45/17 rims and 17x7" centerline aztecs with 4" backspacing on my 240z. I have stock fenders and I would rather not roll the lip if I can get around it. If anyone has experience with 225s please let me know. thx Nathan
auxilary
if your backspacing and offset is right, then you should be far from rubbing. people have fit 265mm wide tires in stock wheel wells

dsommer
They WILL fit!!!!! Just yesterday I had my 225/45/17's mounted on my Aztecs and bolted them to the rear. My car also has MS lowering springs. The wheel tire combo fills up the wheel area pretty good and looks great. Will post pics soon check my profile pics. ds

Guest thepenguin99
Just wondering but what tires did you go with? I am thinking about the kumho 712s.
dsommer
The tires right now are Michelins they will be switched to the front when the Drag radials show up later this week!!! Haha traction (or at least more traction) will be mine. ds
