mas28O
I am working on the R230 for my car. I drilled the MB out to 120mm. The diff is now mounted. I need to make a new front mount for it. Does anyone have any pics of there mount? Mike
Guest Anonymous
Check Tim240z's site. He has a very nice front mount and some great pics. Hopefully he will chime in here.

mas28O
Thanks Tim. Did you mount the diff center? or is it offset to the pass side? Mike
Tim240z
Mike, The diff's 'snout' is by design offset to the pass. side. The rear studs are centered on the mustache bar, which puts the front mount ears offset to the pass. side. Tim

Guest Anonymous
mas280, you can cut that electrical connector off the front of the diff to just get rid of it. It is dry behind that connector (no oil in there) . Looks like that mount will work. What did you use for your isolators? Mark
mas28O
The polly isolators are from a leaf spring truck (1987 Suzuki Samurai). Now I need som cv adapters, I hope Ross C is going to make them. This web site has been very helpfull for info. Thanks Mike

mas28O
Let me know on cost. I would like to get this car done soon. Thanks Mike
Tim240z
Let me know on cost. I would like to get this car done soon. Thanks Mike For a single set, it's gonna be a bit pricey: $300 for the pair. Although I must qualify that price by saying that the tolerances are very, very tight and the quality is excellent. If more guys want in and can get a group buy together, the price will go down. Tim240z
I always maintained that I would be happy to make some mounts, but untill my car is on the road and I've road tested my mount, I feel very uncomfortable selling them. Tim
mas28O
niceguy678us, the front mount was not that hard to make. But someone should set up a install kit for the R230. Mike
