stony
I have a question. i just installed a summit cell with the recommended brackets but teh cell is very loose. It has side to side and a little upa and down play. Is this normal? or did i do something wrong?
Guest Anonymous
Is it plastic or aluminum cell? If plastic, it should have 4 parts to the brackets. Two U shaped pieces that cradel the cell and two flat bars that run across the top to "lock" the cell in place. Hope that helps. stony
it does and all peices are in use but its still loose. The only thing i can think of is maybe its like that to account for expansion once its full of fuel?
Guest Anonymous
Cell should be vented to the atmosphere so I doubt it is loose for expansion. Sounds like a call to summit is in order. Maybe some wrong bracket pieces were sent out with your cell? Mark
Pop N Wood
Doesn't sound safe to me. I have never seen a factory tank with any play whatsoever.
