stony
Ok i have all the fittings installed. a -8 supply, -6 return in the top of the cell, and a -4 vent next to the return on top. How does the vent need to be setup? I obviously dont want it venting into the car so i was going to run a fitting and some line under the car and coil it up at the same level as the top of the cell. Or is there a check valve i can install or something like that, maybe a catch tank? If i install a tank it would need to be able to vertnt

Guest Anonymous
Vent it to the atmosphere without a check valve. I called Jazz on that one and they told me under no circumstance should a check valve be used. They did reccomend using a roll over safty valve to prevent the tank from draining thru the vent in the case of a roll over. I would just vent it outside the car. I think the end of the vent hose can be below the level of the tank. Siphon should not occur because the vent is at the top of the tank and does not extend down into the tank. Good luck, Mark
J Taylor
Not exactly sure how yours is setup but mine will be sitting inside a metal box under the car. For my return and vent I got 2 90 degree bulkhead fittings coming out of the cell.....going to urn hose from these fittings straight across to the side of the box to 2 more bulkhead fittings that go through the box. Probably just going to vent mine out of the fitting on the other side of the box. JT
stony
i just added a -4 nipple to the top of the cell fwd of the -6 the ran a line from that over the top of the cell and down out teh back of the car. when its done it will be all clamped down. I was thinking about adding a -4 bulkhead fitting to the rear valence and screw it into that but i thought that would be kinda funky looking. maybe behind teh bumper wouldnt be so bad
