Guest chip
What are the advantages? I just ordered the honda to z four lug adaptors but was wondering if I should have gone with the five lug. Chip
Dan Juday
You can buy Mustang wheels for your Z. Centerline will sell you 10" or wider custom rims. You can feel 20% more confident that your wheel won't fall off. You can spend more time with your "baby" when you change a tire. That's all I can think of for now. Guest greimann
The only advantage would be if there was a 5 lug wheel style that you really wanted, such as one that fit a Camaro or similar. Otherwise, don't sweat it because there are hundreds of wheels to choose from that fit Hondas.
Mikelly
Well I've got the five lug conversion done on one of my Zs and I can't think of too much more than that. The BS with Centerline not making anything wider than 8 inches available to a four lug pattern is amazing. Years ago I could get 14 inch wide wheels in four lug pattern. I guess the parts availability is about the biggest issue. I'm contemplating if I should convert the white Z to 5 lug or not... That car is flared, so I'll need a super wide rim on the rear, and I'm gonna run slick on it, soooo Maybe I'll go the Mustang five lug route since I am thinking along the lines of running a 5.0 motor anyway... j260z
a five spoke wheel with four bolts looks crappy to me and i'd like to add some dish to my wheels.

(I agree with you. My Billet Specialties rims have caps. Only my wheel man knows I'm a four-bolter.)
Guest ON3GO
could you put one a Z32 300zx 5-lug pattern on a older Z? I want alot of the rims that fit the Z32, supra, etc etc. mike
j260z
i'm not sure about the z32 but i know that the front wheel bearings are the same from 70 - 89 the only difference is in the dust seal.
Doug71zt
Yes you can use the Z32 wheel with the Z31 hub. I have a set on my 240. The hub is a bolt-on if you are careful getting the wheel brg seal started when you install the hub. You need coilovers or spacers to fit that wheel though. CruxGNZ
No, your wheels will not fall off. You can purchase the adaptors here at Modern Motorsports !M![/url]
