Guest Anonymous
You guys told me to ask questiions so here it goes! In an Air to Water intercooler, does Condensation form? If so, how much and how can you effectively drain the condensation water without pressure loss? Or, is the condensation not bad enough to be a problem? I'm just wandering what goes on in the belly of those things In my opinion there has got to be atleast some condensation! That is just what happens when you blow warm moist air over something cold or colder than the air itself! Or atleast that's what I'm getting! Any thoughts on this??? Lockjaw
It probably gets "blown" dry. Actually I would say if you put ice in the water tank, you would get some condensation, but other then that, I don't think the cooling factor of the water is enough to create condensation, but hey I just some guy from Alabama, what do I know? SleeperZ
Yeah, the small amount of condensation will get blown "dry" into the engine. Sort of like a miniature water injection - it's good for you!
