Guest Anonymous
i know it'll fit the small block chevy, but does anyone know what other american engines the t56 can be adapted to? im pretty sure it can be mated to ford small blocks although i have never seen a bellhousing for this purpose. what about old mopar short blocks? Guest DRK
Check out this site. Click on Tremec Transmissions on the left side bar. Give these guys a call for your T56 swap needs. http://www.fortesparts.com/ DK
Mike C
You should have no troubles bolting up an LT1 to any Chevy pattern bellhousing. Not 'til the LS1 did GM change the bellhousing bolt patterns. You will have to use an LT1 flywheel for obvious reasons. (Balance and crank bolt pattern because of one piece seal.)
