This may not be possable or at least not worthwhile but im posting it anyway. Has anyone tried using the computer/wiring/sensors from a 94-95 LT1 on an older TPI setup? I do not know if it is possable because you cannot use the optispark on an older block. The benefit as I see it if you could get the setup to run would be an innexpensive and easily reprogrammable ecu.

Well I know you cant just plug one up to a tpi harness, thats not what I was thinking about. I was thinking of using the whole engine harness and adapting the sensors needed. The fuel injection part should be basically the same. The problem I see you running into is trying to delete the ignition because it wouldnt be used and telling the computer what RPM the engine is at.

I dont know man, I think MAYBE(BIG MAYBE) it could be done but I think it will cost some serious green$$$ to get everything working properly.

With a TPI isnt there only 2 injectors located on top of the throttle body? or am I thinking TBI? :?

Even the guy who converts the LT1 intakes for use on older motors uses the TPI computer. I think you need a crank angle and cam sensor that are difficult to adapt to the older motors. Actually, the $1000 on a DFI computer and harness will be probably the best money you spent.
