CruxGNZ
The last time I went to Great Lakes Dragaway, my tires couldn't stick to the track, it was like they were on slime or something. Now I know for a fact it was my tires. Check out this run at the same place http://www.gzperformance.com/videos/misc/capricewheelie.mpg !M! Guest BigWhyteDude
JESUS CHRIST MAN!!!! What kind of set up do you have in that car? I think it is time to look at investing in some Wheelie-bars. Big time. Can i go for a ride? PLEASE
CruxGNZ
Oh crap, my post makes it sound like that's my car in that video, it's not. It's a run made by somebody else at the same track that I went to with my Z. My point was that the tires on my Z sucked. This guy was really able to hook up on the right tires. Pretty cool run though, hey? !M!
SleeperZ
Good frickin' grief! Yah, you can see now how tires can make a difference.
Guest Aaron
Did anyone else notice that car appeared to run a 9.06 @ 146mph on that run?
CruxGNZ
Good ET still, even after a wheelie and having to pedal it a little (or so it sounds). Tough car! I bet he still pulled an awsome 60' considering he tripped the lights with his rear tires. !M!

Guest Your Car is Slow
hehe...I seriously doubt that car weighs anywhere NEAR its original curb weight.

Guest Your Car is Slow
Id imagine if he installed a full cage..shortened 9" rear...those huge meats in the back..skinnies up front...matching suspension that allows a launch of that nature (and landing), racing seat...removed the remainder of the interior etc....that he has done some serious chassis modifications to that car Id bet its below 3500lbs easy. Breeze77z
I can't say for sure because i don't even know where that is, but I think that is an 1/8th mile track. The ET/Speed board seem to close to the start line for that to be a 1/4 mile. That would definitely help explain a 9 second et with a crap start like that. Like i said, i don't know for sure. Breeze77z
wtf, now i'm just confused re-rewatched it, and speed says 145 !
CruxGNZ
Breeze77z, It is a quarter mile track. For verification, you can see the track here Da Grove !M!
Breeze77z
thanks, i had just never seen ET/Speed indicating signs that close, but OMG that has to be an insanely fast car. Imagine wheely bar and full throttle the entire way Patrick
