Hello For all that don't know or remember I have a right hand drive Fairlady rb26 Z. Well my tour here in the military is over and I have just shipped both of my Z's back to the states (Florida) One is a 77 RHD 2+2 (RB 26 Built) twin T67's, the other is a 76 Fairlady RHD 2 Seater L3.1 built (overfenders, cage, etc). They should be on soil in about a month and one of them is getting sold. I'm just wondering if anybody has an idea of what a RHD fairlady would be worth in the states?

I'll post some pics of them is someone can tell me how to do it.. I'm a mechanic, not a computer wiz..

I'm from Port Charlotte Fla. about an hour south of Tampa and Orlando. As for import restrictions: There are none. I did a whole lot of research on that topic and contacted about 15 different bondsman, importers, specialist etc. and the DOT, EPA.. etc. The good thing is that since they are both over 25 years old. They are not required to meet emissions standards, crash standards etc. I have to pay $400 or so for a first time registration once they get there (each). Which isnt so bad. I think they will be pretty unique as they are both RHD and have the Fairlady Emblems on them.. and the 3.1 liter, has the Z432 exuast which was a bitch to find even over here.. And Stoney I will go take some better pics and email them to you in the morning my time. How do I post them myself?.

I don't get the whole URL thing. Do I have to have a personal web page or somthing to do it?

They both arrive at Miami Port on the 24th of next month.. (can't wait)..

The 2+2 is sporting a stock L20 right now until she passes through. I pulled the 26 out and tossed in an L20 with the sorry SU Carbs so she will pass through and not have to go through a big fuss about a non locally produced engine.. etc. As soon as she lands I toss back in the RB. It was a hell of alot easier pulling out the RB and tossing back in an L than pulling the L and putting in the RB the first time. Took about 6 hours for the reverse swap.. RB has been broken down and crated up for shippment..

As for the 3.1 I left it as it was.. as it was an L to begin with.

Also I just have to have an RHD, cause I love the Z.. but was cursed by being born left Handed... so driving a state side z feels (fuzzed up) when shifting gears.. had to have a left handed car...lol
