"STALL SPEED" IN PLAIN ENGLISH!

"Is all this worth thinking about?"

it depends mostly on your engine combo and performance priorities,

if the car is going to have max performance the stall speed needs to be within about 1000rpm of the tq peak rpm, (thats normally in the 2700rpm-4200rpm range) if the cars prorities are more in line with mileage, then a stall speed in the 1500-1800rpm range will work. ideally youll want the cars gearing and stall speed to keep the engine between 1000rpm under the tq peak and about 1000rpm over max hp peak at all times
