Guest szlash280z
is turbine clipping on a stock T3 turbo worth it? does it yield any gains as far as spool up is concerned? does it kill the turbo in the top end? i was told it is supposed to make the turbo boost sooner, but it doesn't make it fade out earlier. Guest bastaad525
I read a huge article in Sport Compact Car magazine that said that clipping was really not worth it, that it does so much more harm then good as far as what it does to your turbo's efficiency. I trust the stuff they write and have been a long time subscriber to them..... and the tips I've followed from them have always worked out for me. I'd say dont do it
SleeperZ
Ideally, clipping should improve flow for a better top end, but it will slow the spool up.
Lockjaw
I wouldn't do it, I would get a larger turbine wheel instead.
