383 240z
I have a SJ 327 sitting here it has flat tops and a set of 882 76cc 1.94 intake. I was thinking of putting it in front of a TH-700-R4 with a Holley 600cfm (vac 2ndarys) to see use as a street motor in my 73 240Z w/ 3.08 rear gear and 27" tires. Any input on a decent cam would be helpful Keith

Pop N Wood
Where did you get a 3.08 rear? I didn't realize Z rears went that low numerically.

383 240z
Jim, The 3.08 is from an 82 vette (Dana 44M) Gumpy thanks for the input. Emissions are not a problem, does that change the cam recommendation at all?????? How do C4 stock exhaust headers flow? Will they work with this? And fit a Z??? Modern Motorsports Ltd
Keith, I had that same combo. (heads and crank) It's quite a low comp. ratio overall as I recall........if you can trade your heads for a smaller cc head it'll wake it up easier. On the other hand mine was amazingly tolerant of timing and tuning flops
