Dp351zcar
Would anyone want one? I am toying with the idea of putting one together but I am wondering if anyone would want me to make it. Would they sell? Don
Corzette
I would if the stub axles were the GM sized to prevent breakage.
dmanzo57
I think if it were a bolt-in for the 1st gen cars, it should sell easily. What are you using for side/output shafts? Don
Dp351zcar
I am putting the VLSD side stubs on a lathe to cut and shape them, then welding a plate on that is drilled and will take the studs so it will look just like the side stubs that comes on old R200's (I hope). This will also be a viscous unit put in a old style housing. That is why I say it would be a bolt in. I haven't made it yet but the carrier is sitting in the housing right now and I was wondering if I should make it, and more than one. 240Z Turbo
Why, I have already worked out the shaft specs to use the VLSD into a 70-78Z. It uses CV axles and is a direct bolt in affair.
