What Air / Fuel gauge is everyone running?

What brand, I had an autometer but it didnt wrk possibly beause it was fr the wrong voltage range?

The wrong voltage range would be unlikely. All the narrow band sensors operate in the 0-1 volt range. It would help if you mentioned which car -- some of the Z31 turbos have O2 sensors that will not work with a normal A/F gauge, but all the rest should work. The wiring is critical. If you don't run the ground and return wires right, you will get deflections in the gauge reading when you turn on accessories and such.

FJO is the name of the company. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com is where I bought mine. http://fjoinc.com/

The sensor has gotten crazy expensive for replacements though - over $150. AEM now has a W/B, even a dual channel one for V8s, but no display yet. It's been setup to wire into standalone engine management systems but a display is on it's way and is supposedly already in prototype stages. Replacement cost of those sensors is just $30 or so

Yea I remember the discussion last year when someone mentioned that he knew from a reliable source that the sensors will be made really scarce.

I guess it happened! :(

So looks like wait for AEM to come up with a display to be compatable for L28 turbos.

What do you think about the quality of those $30 sensors. Will they be as good as the $150 units that a person (if lucky enough) can find on some honda's at a salvage yard?
