Miles Posted August 7, 2003 Share Posted August 7, 2003 Just put a rebuilt starter on a 350 sbc three weeks ago. Worked great until tonight when hitting the starter button resulted in nothing happening. Hit the button two more times and the main fuse blew. Replaced the fuse after letting the car sit awhile and it started. There is a dead short somewhere. Could it be the rebuilt starter soliniod?
