I am having problems with the car hitting the rev limit before the trans shifts into the next gear. I have read that other people have the same problem when they go from 3.23 to 3.73 gears. Right now I changed the speed settings to 3.54 gears and 235/60/15 tires I also changed the speed settings on the up shift and down shift Stock the Corvette with 3.07 gears had 1>2 @ 45mph 2>3 @ 81mph 3>4 @125mph I changed these # to 1>2 @30mph 2>3 @60mph 3>4 @110 But the car still runs into the rev limit. Lone Star 1 Posted August 12, 2003 Share Posted August 12, 2003 On the LS1 you have to set both speed and RPM of the shift, and both requirments must be met befour a shift will happen. mas28O Posted August 12, 2003 Author Share Posted August 12, 2003 Mudge do you have a link for the Hypertech files? One problem at looking at other files is that they are set up for 3.73 gears. Lonestar from what I can find, it looks like the Lt1 only uses mph to shift and not RPM. I tokk the rpm's up to 6000 to see if that would help.
