r200 clutch type???

Viscous LSD builds fluid resistance when one wheel spins at a different rate than the other, which is used to drive both at the same speed again.

Clutch type is always preloaded to keep tires moving the same speed, and in Nissan's unit also is driven by torque. The more power you give it, the tighter it locks up. Clutches tend to chatter, and need to be replaced periodically.

There are reasons for each: viscous won't make the front of the car push, but it does nothing until after one wheel starts to spin. VLSD is not torque sensing but it is slip sensing. The more the wheel slips, the more fluid pressure tries to stop it. Not adjustable. Smoother.

Clutch type is adjustable, you can make it very aggressive, and it is torque sensing, but if you adjust it super tight then it makes your car push because it acts like a spool until you overcome the friction in the clutches. Adjustable. Not as smooth.

I like clutch type units, FWIW.
