I have the Datsun almost back on the ground. I need to plumb the brake lines so I had to mount the booster to the firewall and buy a master cylinder. I have a 1980 15/16" 280ZX Master and a 1978 2+2 booster. will this system work with Ross's extreme brake set up? It will be some time until I can afford that kit but I want to have the right components in place now. Keith

Keith, the Xtreme 13" fronts with rear 11.4" CNC disk setup works fine with OEM Z or 15/16" MC. I'm not right up on boosters though and have long wanted to see a fine summary of the pros/cons, mix'n'match possibilities with MC's/boosters for Z's.

I've got customers running the Xtreme's with both OEM and 15/16's.....as well as 4x4 typical vented fronts etc as well.

hey a note of those resoviors. im sure you have probably found some that will work. but i thought i would metion that tilton resoviors work great. i picked mine up at a Muscle motorsports for about 6 bucks. This included new tanks and caps along with new clamps for the bottom , also the filtering screens. They also have screw on caps which i think are alot better than the push on datsun ones.

I cleaned the resovoirs up today. they look pretty good I never thout to look at muscle motorsports for them, The ones I got have screw on caps. I think I'll stick with them for now I mounted the booster but it has to come off again as I'm still cleaning the firewall and welding some of the holes shut. Keith
