I get at least one person every time I drive it asking me what it is or telling me they used to have one. Also, on drives in populated area my car gets alot of attention, but maybe thats because of the lopey cam that forces me to rev my car a bit to keep from stalling on start ups. I love my car. Another observation is that every single Z guy I have met, with the exception of some 350z guys, has been exceedingly nice and friendly. This forum is also the most mature and intelligent car forum I have been a part of, and it provides the most in depth help. I am glad to be a part of the Z family. awd92gsx Posted October 11, 2003 Share Posted October 11, 2003 I admit, I have the MSA front and rear bumpers, but, I also chose to go with the MSA F40 style wing...I have a set of custom offset Ultras (16"x8) and the car is painted a porsche style red... Every once in awhile I'll get somebody that comes to me and says they saw me here or there...and I've never been there...but, for the most part, Z's here look fairly unique. I've had people leave me notes on the windshield and come up to me...and if my wife is behind me she says there's alot of people looking at it...I guess it is kinda nice having a classic lined car rather than something that looks like everything else (that's a Honda right? oh...wait...no..it's a toyota...err...what is that anyway?) One thing I've found about the Z...we get respect from both camps...the import guys like it because it's an import, and the V8 guys seem to give us our respect, too...maybe because it's a RWD sports car, I dunno.
