zguy95135 Posted October 28, 2003 Share Posted October 28, 2003 my dad's 280 2+2 gets vapor lock sometimes when sitting in the parking lot. i dont think that it is the fuel pump or filter because we just took a trip and got up to 120 MPH and the engine wasnt struggling at all. what could it be? also when he starts up the car sometimes it revs, pops a couple of times and then idles rough (almost dying) for a while and is fine after that. does it just need a good tune up?
