Guest Anonymous
Spotted these wire loom kits and thought they were pretty slick. http://www.made4uproducts.com/centerbolt_kits.htm
DavyZ
I have some on my 350 and I really like them. Not too many guys have them on their motors (that's a good thing) and they still look unique. The plastic and color are very good and are of a decently high quality. They look a little like this: However, the centerbolt configuration looks pretty cool. You would definitely be the first on your block to own one, since this is the first time I have ever seen these. This is NOT my motor or the color of the loom/separators, but you get the idea Davy
Guest jwelch
Those are cool. I'm in the middle of a Vortec swap so I'm ordering mine. Thanks for the link! Regards,
strotter
How do they get the wires to fit so perfectly, length-wise? Custom sets, or are they trim-able in some way?
DavyZ
You just use some good 8.8mm wires and they will line up just like that if you use their products; I had no trouble at all routing my wires, and YES, I did buy 'cut to fit' wires since I could get the best look in the engine bay. If you have never done that before, be forewarned: making mistakes is VERY frustrating The wires run perfectly because of what you don't see: Davy
Tim240z
I usually just buy the Big Block wire kit 'cause it is longer than the SB kit. That way the length of the wires are just about perfect. I've always found the SBC kits to be too short. Tim
Mike C
I've got a set of the made-4-u looms on my Jimmy and my Z/28. I use 72 truck wires that have conventional cap connectors but run underneath the manifolds. I used the looms that are made for the valve cover that mount the wires vertically but I attached them to the oil pan. Nice product.
