spotfitz Posted November 20, 2003 Share Posted November 20, 2003 Reminds me of my very first track event inwhich it had rained the night before and was still raining the day our club went. I had almost bald dry pavement tires on(for lack of replacements) and it was very easy to get in a 2 wheel slide, front or rear, aswell as 4 wheel drifts. Very fun day even though I don't think I got over 50mph, even in the straights. I got to see acouple 350Z, Z32's go off track along with some near misses. The amazing thing was this 280ZX(owned by a friend of mine) riding my bumper the whole time I was sliding around. He kept pushing me and pushing me. I kept trying to let him by. Towards the end he finally passed me. I only then felt comfortable about sliding around the corners. I'm looking forward to doing it again, especially in wet weather.
