240zprace Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 i helped my buddy put in his 81turbo motor in his 73 240z, Supra IC, Bosch BOV, stock t3, boost gauge, air/fuel gauge, 370cc injectors, 2.5 exhaust into a chambered muffler. he's only getting 9-10lb of boost. now from what i think might be the problem is the muffler, because it's chambered and not flowing the exhaust air out fast and backpressure is occuring. could this be the problem????
