Guest kc6wfs
Painless is a great kit. It costs some bucks though. I wired mine to a toggle switch so I can do it manualy. Dave

Guest Anonymous
well i know there are about a dozen or so different kits out there, but my question was what kit would you get and why. so far my choices are either the painless kit or just install a check ball under the solinoid so when i shift into overdrive it will automatically shift into OD when the line pressure reaches 50....any other suggestions out there. thanks Jesse
danc
Guys: I was heading the same direction and bought a Painless Lockup kit from Summit for my 700R4. The transmission guy I took it to told me it wasn't necessary, charged me $90. and my lock-up works great. The only feature I don't have is a release of the lock-up when you hit the brake, but other than that it works the same as my Tahoe lock-up. I'm sure this isn't magic and any reputable transmission sho could do this. Good Luck. Dan
