Guest Paul Felker
Hi guys, I will be importing three cars from japan in two weeks, one skyline, one silvia, and a trueno. if all goes well I will do it again. the skyline looks to be sold and i will probably keep the other two as shop cars. what I'm asking is this, is there any intrest in rb motors? they will be complete front clips from the dash area to the radatior. I have a line up for these in japan, and my partner will be going back in two weeks to get everything lind up to import these three cars. the gentleman we are getting these cars from has quite a few front clips on hand for shipment, plus an airplane hangar full fo used aftermarket parts, wheels exhausts, turbo setups, intercoolers, you name it this person has it, and it is quite sight to see all this stuff in one place, and the best part he is VERY reasonable price wise. now what I need is info to what are the more desireable front halfs, what years, models, and so forth. I have been on ebay looking around, and what these people are asking for these clips astounds me. so let me know, email me or call me @1-262-391-1268 if you have a wish list or need anything from Japan oh yaeh ask for Paul

Guest FinalRights
I'm sure everyone here would like to know the prices that your are thinking of charging. If prices where here,Im sure you would have alot more interest in this.
Guest Nameless EJ6
Yes, I think prices are the big part too. If the prices are right, they'll sell like cakes. I wouldn't doubt it at all. 3500 for R33 RB25DET clips 4500-5k for R33 RB26DETT clips Prices like those will probably net some good sale. The most desirable is R33 93-97/98 clips etc. Next being the R32 RB20DET's.. I think ebay generally has high prices because the people behind the auctions are looking to 'get rich quick'.. and most buyers are scared to buy motors/clips on ebay also, so that's why you see their auctions running for so long, and they seem as if no one is interested in them. BTW, you probably know, but there is alot of 240sx owners out there seeking clips right now. Overall I think the demand is damn good.. Guest Paul Felker
thanks for the positive replys! I am getting into the importing business I guess! I will try to answer all your questions as soon as I can on pricing and avalibility, now remember I'm not really looking to "get rich quick" or any thig like that, although I'd like to make something on these shipping is pretty steep! What about sr20det front halfs I'm getting one for less than 2g's w/ 45k on the clock, and wheels geez if you guys want wheels jdm style i think i might be a very good resourse for those also. Thanks for the intrest, Paul @ Street Wise Automitive-Midwest Z specalists
Guest FinalRights
3500 for R33 RB25DET clips 4500-5k for R33 RB26DETT clips Those rb25 prices are rather high. Almost everyplace I go to has them for 2000-2500. If you can get the Rb26 for like 3500-4000,you will have alot more sales then other places. RB26powered74zcar
yea, like on3go said. anything for the z that you don't see sold everyday on zcar.com or ebay, would good to start with... myself, I'd perfer a clip over engine set. their are important parts needed with these swaps that most of the time don't come with just the engine/trans pakage. if your doing a swap and like me, already have a aftermarket programable engine managment ecu, then you can most likely get by with just the engine set. I want a RB25 clip or a 1JZ clip. give me your best price...
Guest Aguyandaredhead
Full clip please.. Jeff
Guest Nameless EJ6
3500 for R33 RB25DET clips 4500-5k for R33 RB26DETT clips Those rb25 prices are rather high. Almost everyplace I go to has them for 2000-2500. If you can get the Rb26 for like 3500-4000' date='you will have alot more sales then other places.[/quote'] For good R33 clips with good mileage, I think 3500$ is reasonable. R33 RB26 clips would be nice to see at that price (3500-4000). I personally think that's too cheap for the front half of a GTR skyline, but that's me and my opinion. R32 might fit that price better. That's almost the price it costs to put an ITR drive train into a civic.. don't you think these are worth more than that? I do. Where do you find those prices? I've enquired many places in Australia, Japan, and the US, and I don't see them for 2500$ unless they are series 1 R33 clips with higher mileage and junkyard grime on them. Maybe it's my luck. Guest Paul Felker
hey guys check out http://www.hpico.jp this is one of the guys we met really cool take a look and tell me what you think. on3go a set of wheels on this site will run me about 400-450 shipped to my door, they dont take up too much room in a crate! but that is shipped to my door, so im not sure if that is in your price range, the price may be flexable, depends on how much stuff we buy from this guy, the more we buy the better the price gets! so guys put in your wish lists and lets all get cool stuff for cheap! Thanks Paul
Guest Paul Felker
billz260 gtr prices vary quite a bit. $6-7 to 25gs will gut you one but it is not legal to drive on the roads here in the states. Docket no. nhtsa-99-5507 says it is legal to import them to the us. the only people that can make one legal is motorex and that will cost you at least 15+g's, sorry opt bust your bubble, cause ive been trying for some time to find out any info to make on legal, i really want one too later Paul @ Street Wise Automotive
