David K
What are the differences between the coupe z/zx and the 2+2 z/zx flywheel and clutches? Im dropping the trans this week, i need to replace the clutch while im in there. Im also taking a trip to the JY this monday, before i start the trans. 2+2 stuff work good in the coupe? Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
HI Dave. This is what I know. The 2+2 coupe has a larger clutch and flywheel . I believe it to be the same as the turbo models as well with the borg warner t5. Use the clutch fork and clutch collar from the 2+2 should there be any differences. Good luck Juan
Forrest
http://www.zhome.com/rnt/L28conversion/engine.html http://www.geocities.com/zgarage2001/engine.html Check out both these sections on flywheel/clutch 240mm swaps. I'm about to pull my transmission this weekend because I've been told the stock TO bearing collar was used with a 240mm clutch and flywheel. This would explain why it doesn't fully disengage all the time. My question for the rest of you guys is, will the TO bearing collar on the BW T5 in my garage (from a turbo car with a 240mm flywheel) be fine to swap in? Or do I need to order one from an s30 2+2 model instead? -Forrest
