Georgia Flash
I was wondering is anyone using the MSA drive shaft? Did it fit properly? I have a 76 and I know in their catalog they specifically say it will not work for the 75 but they do not say if it will not work for early 75's or late 75's. I only bring that up because some 76 Z's may have been actually manufactored in 75 and sold as 76's.
innerware
I'd contact them. It fit perfect on my 78.
Nismo280zEd
talking about driveshafts.... is it possible for an original driveshaft to wear down soo much that it leaks outta the rear tranny seal? cause i have a brand new seal and just got the tranny resealed and it leaks at the rear seal. is it possible? anybody know the exact specs for it? EvilRufusKay
Its possible that a groove has been worn in the yoke. Have you looked at it? If it had you would be able to see it and feel it. It is also possible that the seal was installed wrong or damaged when it was put in. How does the seal look installed? Dented? Crooked? Nismo280zEd
I installed the seal myself.. nothing wrong there... and the drivesfast is smooth taken it out 2 or three times. -Ed i do run synthetic gear oil... maybe that it?
