Guest Aguyandaredhead
Ok I have worked a deal on my RB25det clip and now I need to know the best way to move it from the trailer to garage. So how did you go about it, any good ideas would be great.. Thanks Jeff
BillZ260
Well, if you need it to be mobile for a while you could build a front clip dolly. Does the clip have the rotors on it? Maybe you could bolt some wheels to it, and make some levers to bolt onto the clip and walk it like a wheel barrow. How much does this thing weigh, 1000 lbs? I am sure someone on here will have the end all best idea ever..
denny411
If you have a good engine lift/cherry picker, I would recomend backing the trailer into the garage and lifting the clip off in there. Once it is in the air you can pull the trailer out from under it. When you get it where you want, put jackstands ner each corner.
QWKDTSN
I bet a pallet jack and a friend or two would do the trick.. after you get it on the ground, of course. I don't know how you'd get it on the ground other than a forklift, as an engine hoist simply wouldn't cut it.
Guest Aguyandaredhead
Well we shall see, it will be delivered next Sat. I thought about the wheel barrel idea, just don't know what it might weigh. Hey Bill I might need some muscle on that day if you are up to it.. Thanks for the ideas.
