lift options

most guys can,t afford a hydrolic lift and use those auto store ramps to work on thier cars like these

Id just like to point out some options some of you might not be aware of....... while they are much more expensive they are still much cheaper than a full hydrolic lift

the longer lifts in the third example are about ideal for working on corvettes and other cars with low ground clearance, while they cost about $300 you could save alittle welding up your own from steel as an option, Ive seen guys make very nice custom sets for under $200 in materials

 

another EXCELLENT REASON TO OWN A GOOD WELDER. and know how to use it correctly

I'm currently trying to figure out how to make a drive on ramp for each side of my twin post lift so I could drive the car ontl the flat ramps, and lift the car up so I can do suspension setups... Mainly for the Vette, but also for the Z. I have turn plates on order and just got my camber gages and toe gage.
