Xander
Hi, I was looking at my intake that I am going to use on my turbo project and saw this. The bumps in the intake runner are from the injector holddown mounting screws. There seems to be plenty of meat for the screws even if I remove these lumps. Can anyone think of a reason not to do this?
Roggaman
There should be no problem removing those "bumps", to be on the safe side you could use some sealent on the threads just in case!
fast eddie
Other than NOT having an air tight intake manny it shouldn't be a problem
zxtman
you can use an epoxy to seal the holes.

The above approach should work just fine. Been there, done that...
