Guest ZofDoom
Okay so I have a set of 87 Toyota 4x4 calipers which are slightly wider then the 81 to 84 4x4 calioers. What I am planing is to use the vented rotors off a 280 ZX. Does any one see any problems with this?
Guest Drewz
you will need spacers to offset teh rotor so the caliper sits centered. The spacer is something like a half inch that goes in between the hub and rotor mating surfaces. Do a search to find the thickness of the appropriate spacer needed for your specific hub as the 280 and 240 hubs are different.

JMortensen
The 280ZX has a smaller diameter rotor, so the pad will hang off the edge of the rotor. The usual setup is early 300ZX rotor with a 1/2" spacer to get the caliper to fit over the rotor correctly. Jon
Guest Drewz
Oh ya. use the 300zx rotors as they are larger

Guest Anonymous
Does that conversion move out the front wheels? If so, how much?
Guest Drewz
No the spacing stays stock as it merely moves the rotor inborad the needed amout for alignment with the caliper once mounted.
