Guest zmepro
any kinda aproximate for the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times for a 240z with the 280 turbo swap (stock engine) thanks!
fl327
I think you have to specify just HOW stock. A lot of us run the stock engine.
Guest bastaad525
You mean stock boost as well? Stock boost stock everything in a 240 is good for high 14's and a 0-60 of about 6.5 seconds. Turn the boost up to 9-10psi and you'll be around high 13's and 0-60 in about 5.5-6 seconds. I'm running about as close to stock as they come. Only changes to my car are the obligatory K&N filter, an MSD ignition and fuel pump, a performance clutch and lightened flywheel, and a BOV (consider this mandatory) running 10psi with a cheap DIY manual boost controller, I put down 200hp, and I have weighed my car at 2320lbs with my tools, jack, spare, and about 1/2 tank of fuel in it. Power to weight dictates about a 13.6 if I drive it well. Oh and I'm running a VERY restrictive exhaust... certainly not helping anything. Garrett76Zt
when I first swapped my motor in with 2.5" exhaust and a k&N filter, stock 7 psi boost stock intake manifold, stock TB . . .everything the car ran a 14.9 @ 90mph
Guest bastaad525
Very nice times for such a relatively modest setup, Garret76zt (talking about the time in your sig).
evildky
weight can be a big factor, I have an early 240 running 8psi, totally gutted I ran a 13.6, 2.5"crush bent exhaust (no muffler), and an adjustable FPR, other than that completely stock motor
