ZROSSA Posted May 7, 2004 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Howdy all, Can any one out there help me with the thickness of the strut isolaters from diferent year s30's. I want to drop the rear of my 77 2+2 about a inch. If i drop in some front isolaters from a 240 will that do the trick? I know they are shoter but I just dont know buy how much. A actual measurement would be good for comparison. My Z has been pulled apart and put together so many times that i dont really know what year the parts are from. j260z Posted May 10, 2004 Share Posted May 10, 2004 the strut isolators on the 240z are the same front and rear. i'm not sure about the 280z but i would think they are the same also. if you swapped out the taller 280z isolators for the shorter 240z ones you will drop the car between 3/4" to 1".
