COZY Z COLE
Have you cleaned your injectors and checked their electrical connections?? You may need injector replacement. LARRY

datsunlover
Sounds like the AFM could be acting up... or maybe the TVS.. if its not reading at idle, the ecu might be getting confused and dumping in too much fuel. You could try disconecting it and starting the car; That should throw the computer in to a 'failsafe' or limp mode, where it runs on a pre-programed code instead of using the sensors to run the engine. It'll only let you rev to 2500 or so, but if it runs better (no more smoke) then it's probly the TVS... You'll probly be confused right now on 'what the heck is a TVS?' Throttle Valve Switch. Alot of ppl just call it a TPS (throttle position sensor) but it's not. It's just two switches in side.
TomoHawk
You should check the Thermotime temp switch too. If it isn't working, the computer thinks the engine is cold and runs the mixture rich. It's an expensive sucker at $60, but important. It's high on my list of stuff, right after the headlights.

zxgts-4
On the simple side, air filter clogged or rubbish sucked into intake. Check afm for free movement of flap. Neil
