Guest wolfztech04
hello yall does anyone have a method of raising boost pressure, without spending a whole lot of money. I'm only running 5psi, and I want to run around 9-10 psi. I just don't want to spend alot. Any cheap fixes would help. Thanx
fl327
stick a t in the vacum line to the wastegate actuator, that should get you at least 10psi.
BayAreaZT
and it will only cost you about $2.
Guest bastaad525
Grainger valve style do-it-yourself boost controller. Total cost about $10-15, fully adjustable boost (think it adjusts up to 15-20psi). Very easy to put together. All the links I have to the page with part #'s and such are down, but here's the link to a place that puts them together and sells them, but for about $50. Just giving you the link to see exactly what it looks like and how easy it is to install... maybe someone else on here knows the three part #'s you need? http://www.dawesdevices.com/boost.html
yo2001
I think the cheapest way to turn up the boost is to bend the actuator rod.
