Even the VG30 Turbo swap we're doing here required some fancy metalwrok to get a reasonable IC installed without modifying the cars appearance, and it's a lot shorter than the L6! I don't know.. Correct, I think it was posted earlier too. Anyway, I think he told me his intake temp drops 20* when he flips the water pump on for the intercooler. 510six Posted June 5, 2004 Share Posted June 5, 2004 My turbo is a bone stock CT 26 off of an 89 Supra.My plan was to make a streetable car with the turbo and sick HP with the N20.The intercooler was a fabrication of a couple of friends of mine and it drops intake temps around 20* below ambient at idle on a hot day.It was a spacial limitation.
