jaime240z
OK I know this is a bit of an "old" thread. Just wondering if anyone out there actually has one of these bars on their car. Looking for feedback before I buy.... likes...dislikes....tips for shoppers.......... Thanks
buZy
I have the AZC M-bar R-200. Works great. Solid with... no vibs. A must have for a V8 compared to the sagging stock units. Just my 2 cents worth.
240Z2NV
Jaime240Z be sure that you tell him what car your diff came from to avoid any confusion/interpretation of "R200" I believe that he offers them machined for both (wide & narrow holes). jaime240z
Copy that, thanks. I verified the bolt pattern as being 4.75 inch on the bar. I'm still contemplating this though, drilling the bar would be so much cheaper...decisions, decisions.....
fischer183
If you get the transverse link figured out for the finned cover, I'd put down a deposit too. I'm not usually on this site but I'm sure you could get a bunch of customers at zcar.com too.
240Z2NV
fischer183 Tim240Z has a pretty straightforward design that he allowed me to copy. It doesn't have the 'bling factor' of billet aluminum; but, it works fine. I completely understand if you're waiting for the matching 'bling' to go with that finned cover. IF, however, you just need function, I have diff covers that do NOT require a new lower transverse link from later model units (function over form, or form over function?)..... Cyind
Dave, I'm still waiting on the r200 barce to go with the bar I got from you. It's been a long time. Any ETA on the brace and do you have any oil pans in stock? I was going to call you but this will save me from making a call from work... can't wait too see how they come out...
