Guest vizcounty
Hello guys, Currently My Z has GC coilovers with F=300 and R=350 spring rates, and I found out today that my shocks is blown. I bought the car no long ago. I have checked around for shocks that will hold that kind of spring rates. And for the price that I am expected to pay for them, its not worthed coz the Z basically gonna be my daily car with few autocross sessions. Anyone have a lower spring rates that is laying on the garage/shop? I want about F=150, R=225 Or we can trade if you want to get serious with your Z. Thank you for your time, any advice and recommendations will be greated appreciated. Tony

Drax240z
F=150, R=225 is probably going to be a bit mushy in the front end... I'd try something in the area of F=175, R=200 or F=200, R=225 for dual duty autocross/street. Make sure you have some decent dampers too. 300/350 is pretty crazy for a car that see's much street time.
Guest vizcounty
Thanks for the reply guys, Does it matter if I use 10" length springs for a 1977 280Z instead of 12"? Currently mine is: F:1200/250/0300 R:1200/250/0350 By the way, I have 27mm sway bar in front and 19mm in the rear, with poly bushings on the car. Advice appreciated, Tony
Guest vizcounty
Drax, Is that your store at the link? Do you sell any shocks that will accomodate my spring rates? Thank you, Tony
