Guest butlersZ
anyopne running full length headers on a z? I tried some camaro headers that don't fit and today I tried some blazer and 4wd truck headers, they clear the motor mounts but are hell to put in(engine in car). The passenger side hits the nubbin with the bushing on it.
Mikelly
Do a search on S&S headers... Also, Look in the photoalbum. I posted pics a while back showing the clearance of the S&S 1 3/4 headers in my Z for a test fit. mike
Guest 570Z
I've only been able to find that street rod headers and some exhaus manifold off of old Caprices fit, it would be pretty cool if we could run full length headers. I guess we can either hit the steering rack or the floorboards, what can we do, huh?
Guest butlersZ
I have a friend that has a v8 z in his garage thats been sitting for the past 14 years. He has full length headers on his car but they did some modifying on the headers to get them to fit. He has no idea what brand they are or what they were originally for, but they do work. As soon as I get digital camera, I can upload some pics. I built some kick ass motor mounts for my v8z I need to post as well.
