Tim240z
I am building a cradle dolly so that I can start and run my SBC build (with MS) out of a car, so i can run in the cam and check for leaks etc..... Anyways, I want to obviously have: At a minimum: Tach Water temp Oil Pressure And maybe: Volt Vacuum Fuel Pressure JC Whitney has some very inexpensive gauges, but are they inexpensive, or just plain cheap crapola? Anyone have any recommendations? I obviously don't want VDO or Autometer for this application...and I want mechanical where feasible (temp and pressure)
Mike C
Check out Surpluscenter.com. They have some cheap gauges, but they may not all match! Go to the Engines/Auto tab, then you will see the gauges link. I bought 6 SW vac gauges from them to build the ultimate triple carb synch tool. Sumo
Get those cheap Sunpro tri-gauges for volts, oil, temp from Pep boys if they still sell em'. They should have a cheap mini tach and vacuum gauge also by Sun but since they started selling the APC junk i dunno if they are still sold. 8)
Drax240z
The stewart-warner gauges look well priced and seem to be decent quality IMHO... take a look anyway. http://www.sw-performance.com
