anybody live in or around the Houston area. i'm a student at Universal Technical Institute, and drive an 88 z31n/a, thaat needs to be MUCH faster , i'm looking for ideas and helpful hints form preople that started thier conversion to v8 so let me know. I'm interested in emissions/custom mounts, drivesahfts and parts needed. i'm running an internet connection so old it should be fosilized(14.4k dial-up) so these forums are hard for me to view easily, feel free to email me at andyZ@theraces.com

thanks!

let's all meet up somewhere central!

as for the connection, try to visit the local library they usually have fast connections.

tjcannon is actually located in houston completing his swap into a z31, i highly recommend PM'ing him.

I have a stick welder at home, a mig at work and a neighbor who is a master with a tig. What do you need done? Sleeper, I want that cowl hood that's in your pic, where did you get it? Are you looking to get a car painted or just some parts? I know a guy that paints on the side that did my car. He does pretty good work and is reasonable.

If you guys want to hook up this weekend somebody call me at 281-572-2420. I will be around all weekend.

My wife and I have a 78 Zbut it is still in LA, but should make the trip back here soon. We are on the hunt for a LS6 that we are going to drop in. I was thinking about doing the JTR mounts for the trans and then having some custom mounts built for the engine to keep it really low. Let me know if you guys are interested in a little extra business in welding and fitting. I will be glad to help out anywhere I can on my end. I know these old Z fairly darn well. Take care

Robert
