Hi everyone, i'm still a newbie here but i really need help with this prob. i'm having. I just recently bought a set of the tokico blue shocks and lowering springs from http://www.shox.com. Now my first question is this; are the shorter springs suppose to go up front and the longer ones in the back right ??? I ask this because when i went to go put the strut assembly together it just was'nt working out right. I put the bump stop around the shock "piston" right where that little lip is under the threds. and then i put the upper spring seat on and the insulator but when i push it all together the bump stops forces itself off the lip and moves down the piston further????? What should i be doing. By the way i'm speaking of the front suspension and not the rear.

Ok well that works out fine. But here is the real problem, when i put the whole thing together i have about 2 inch. of space between the upper spring seat and the spring itself. Mind you i used the shorter springs for the front ? is this right? should there be that much space or will the car push this down once the whole thing is in.

keep in mind there is no weight on assembly right now

when you mount it on the car it gets compress and settles in

but if theres no contact at all

and you say its ~50mm

iw oudl be a little weary and double check i didnt put the rear springs on the front and the front springs on the rear!

Ok, i did'nt put the rear springs on the front and the fronts on the rear. As i said in the above i put the shorter springs which have a few numbers on them and then "F" after them. So i'm assuming these shorter springs are the correct ones for the front ? and the longer springs "R" are in the back. But the front springs just won't touch the spring seat. they seem to short. This is the MAJOR PROBLEM.
