I know that around 550+ HP is where they are in risky territory, if you know of LJ's page he lost a rod and nuked the engine right around the 600/650HP area IIRC. He's in the 9s now on a 383... Darius Posted December 11, 2002 Author Share Posted December 11, 2002 ya I have splayed B&B 4 bolt main caps with a cola 4340 steel crank rod throws drilled and lightened with eagle rods all arp bolts adn venolia pistons, I think the stock block is only good for 800hp or maybe more who know I wont be pushin that much anyway.
