Guest RCNSC
Anyone thought about making these? Anyone even interested? Just thought it be a cool alternative to the painted/chrome ones.
280Zone
Cool, possibly when clean, but I doubt you would be able to see anything. I think it would get pretty dirty and end up looking terrible.

JoeinCA
you know what would be even more BLING than that? Spinner pulleys. yeah! Spinner hubcaps are cool, but when you open the hood and see all them pulleys blingin'.... never mind... aside from not being able to see through it, plexiglass may not like the heat, and may give you sealing problems, but i dont know. If you have access to a good welder. you could make really cool sheet metal l6 valve covers... Joe

JoeinCA
Sorry, i wasnt trying to be mean.... a Clear valve cover would be awesome for a show car. especially if you had some cool goodies that were hidden by a stock cover. Joe
Guest 2slo4u
Neither plexiglas or lexan would hold up to the heat, but glass would. That would be very cool because when the oil drained off of the glass (and it would) you could see the cool internals! The only problem would be getting the proper torque on the bolts without cracking the glass. Cool idea, man. Let us know when you do it. 841zxturbo rustybutrunning stillidleshigh
zguy95135
maybe you could make it out of the plastic they use on the "euro hoods" http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/storeId-10101/p-6629/c-10101/catalogId-10101 it claims it wont fog or discolor due to heat
